Research Assistant/Research Associate

Department: Core Technology R&D
Location: Durham, NC

The Core Technology Research and Development Team, Precision Biosciences, is currently seeking a well-rounded, highly-motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated aptitude and technical prowess to fill the role of Research Assistant/Research Associate. The primary responsibility will include generation and characterization of adeno associated virus (AAV) for various R&D projects. The position will also involve a substantial amount of cloning, molecular biology and cell biology. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Core Technology team, but may also interface with other groups such as Gene therapy team, Cell therapy team, and Therapeutic Discovery team.

The ideal candidate will possess an innate desire to produce high quality data and prepare timely reports with strong attention to detail. The Research Associate should be highly organized and also have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
